About
Judith McGlinchy AIA LEED A.P.
Senior Associate
I’ve always been drawn to art and design. I was influenced from an early age by my grandfather who was a tailor; my mother, an artist; and my father, an engineer.
I see design as exploration and discovery. In college, I satisfied my curiosity about architecture by exploring abandoned buildings, wondering what the stories were of the people who had lived in the space.
What I love about design is working with clients to help them create environments that fit. For clients who build only once, the number of choices and decisions can be overwhelming. I help them think about what they want to do and why. Together we discover possibilities for shaping the space so they are delighted with the results for a long time to come.
I’ve been committed to sustainable design since well before LEED certification came on the scene. I believe that if you really care about the environment, you design smart and don’t overbuild. That’s been my mission since day one.
