Simulation based pedagogy has long been a part of medical, nursing, and allied health education, whether through standardized patient interaction, cadaver studies, or inert mannequin usage. With the advent of high fidelity patient simulators, it has become apparent that simulated clinical environments of commensurately high fidelity also play an important role in reinforcing the sense of immersion that learners experience when engaged in simulation activities.
We achieve this level of veracity through SimBLE Design by understanding not only the requirements of learner driven teaching studios, but how such spaces authentically incorporate the appropriate level of medical, simulation, and information technology to reinforce and support education.
